Violinist/Violist
Freelancing in Los Angeles as a classical violinist and violist, Cicely performs as an orchestral and chamber musician and as a soloist. In the past, she has performed with the Santa Monica Symphony, the San Bernardino Symphony, the Erato Ensemble, the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, the Plastic Acid Orchestra, Classical Revolution Vancouver, the University of British Columbia Symphony Orchestra, the Garden City Symphony, and with Coldplay, Michael Bublé and Rod Stewart, among other pop artists. She is the Director of the Venice, CA chapter of Classical Revolution, a movement that brings classical music to grassroots community venues. Cicely has studied and performed at the Ameropa Festival (Czech Republic), Bowdoin Music Festival (Maine, USA), and Domaine Forget (Quebec, Canada) and holds dual Masters' degrees from the University of British Columbia in violin and viola performance, and a liberal arts undergraduate degree from Columbia University, where she graduated cum laude. Also trained as a dancer (National Ballet School, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Mozaico Flamenco), currently performing as a flamenco artist, and certified to teach several physical modalities, these pursuits inform Cicely's musicianship.
