Today I had the honor of playing at Shining Star School in downtown Providenciales. Seriously, I've never played for a more adoring, gratifying audience. The pre-k's burst into a rapturous applause after one note. One older girl throughly cowed me by bursting into tears for my Brahms. Trust me, I'm no Heifetz. This is simply the power of the fiddle. There's a reason they're called heartstrings. I hope these children get to hear more live music soon - and they will if I and their devoted teachers have anything to do with it.
